Public Workshop: Five Years Fukushima, Thirty Years Chernobyl Accident

The International Nuclear Risk Assessment Group (INRAG) and the Institute of Safety and Risk Sciences (ISR), University of Life Sciences and Natural Resources (BOKU), Vienna, are announcing a public workshop on the 30th anniversary of Chernobyl accident and the 5th anniversary of the Fukushima accident.

The aim of the public workshop is to present and discuss relevant issues regarding the nuclear accidents at Chernobyl NPP and Fukushima NPP. Additionally to the discussion on the accidents a special focus will be on the impact of the accidents and the lessons learned. Therefore special presentations will deal with the status of the implementation of the National Actions Plans after Fukushima of the Austrian neighboring countries.

The workshop is open to the public (free of charge and no registration is required)
